North zone opens the first Saturday in November. Middle zone opens the Saturday closest to Nov 6.........so for several years both zones open the same weekend, if I read their propaganda right. Then he middle has a 5 day split. So at end of the day, you get 5 extra days in January than now. Why even change chit. Open it the second weekend of November and have your 5 day split somewhere. Hell close it on Christmas Day also. There aren't many people who duck hunt that day. They do it in Arkansas, and it didn't start a war down there. It's one extra day on January to hunt

I will have to read more in depth but according to my understanding of the federal guidelines, that can't be. If the state is split into zones, you can't have split dates (where the season closes for a period of time and reopens). It is either zones or split dates. Unless that has changed at the federal level...
